December 27, 2004 update - I just looked at the Fall 2004 pictures to see if the pre-loader bar works (it does) and I notice a myriad of typos and misspellings in the descriptions!  Sorry about that.  It is a LAME web page, you know.

December 27, 2004 - Good evening Lame Web Page readers.  Another day gone by, and a very late and very lame update.  I fixed the pre-loading bar on the recent "Fall 2004" pictures, I can't really tell if it works because our Lame internet connection loads it too fast.  It works within flash, so please report any problems to webmaster@sidandlisa.net (oh, yes, I do claim to be the Lame web master).

Not too much exciting to report today.  Lisa's still sick with a cold, she went to bed early.  There's a lot going on in the world I'd like to gripe about, but as is often the case here it is 10:45 pm and I'm too tired to do anymore tonight.  We had a really good time with everyone in Dallas last weekend, I'll write more about that soon.  It was strange not seeing Alex over the holidays, it's really not fair because we're so used to her coming to Dallas.  We saw her over Thanksgiving and that was so nice, it does make it more difficult now.

I do want to start updating the "News" section more often, and I'd also like to write more movie reviews.  Particularly "Sideways", my opinion has changed a lot since I first saw it.  We haven't seen much else, we're going to see "Life Aquatic" this weekend with Comrade Alex and Comradette Stacey.  My ultimate goal is to set Comrade Alex up with the necessary software and know-how to start a blog on the Red Corner.  Not only does he have a lot to say, his phone has been tapped by the Government and that makes for some good stories.  I'd also like Lisa to learn how to make entries here, but she won't sit still long enough for me to show her how.  It's always fun when the batteries in the Lame Web Page wireless optical mouse start to weaken, random clicks and scrolls abound.

A bit of business - Lisa and I have an extra monitor.  We've kept it around thinking our very Lame and very cheap "Daewoo" LCD monitor would only last a day or two, and low and behold it seems to be holding up.  And as those of you who know our condo know, there isn't room here for an extra monitor.  It's a 17" Sony flat CRT, it was only used for about 6 months.  If no one wants it before the end of January Lisa's going to take it to my parent's house.  It's free to a good home if you'll come and get it.

I'm off to bed, more tomorrow!

December 24, 2004 - Merry Christmas everybody!  Lisa and I are off to Dallas to spend time with our families, we wish everyone a safe and happy holiday.

I posted some fall pictures in the "pictures" section, beware the pre-loaded doesn't work, so you see only a white screen while it's loading.  I'm working on a new and improved pre-loader with a real-time dynamic progress bar, as of now it ain't working so good.  I got attacked by my own uvula last night, this time I snapped a picture!  I'll post that to gross you out later.  Can you believe it has been over a year since this blog was started?  December 20, 2003 was the first entry.  This also approximately marks the 5th anniversary of the Lame Web Page.

December 22, 2004 - Man I'm tired.  I think I've updated the "pictures" section with a selection of photos from our Fall 2004 experiences.  I'm having trouble with the new pre-loaded and I'm too tired to figure it out.

December 21, 2004 - I do believe I feel a "pictures" update tonight.  Lisa gets a backrub, then I break out the coffee and get to work.  We'll see what happens.  Check out www.charlesroe.net, he's posted some new music and pictures of the beautiful Olivia.

December 19, 2004 - Season's Greetings Lame Web Page Readers (or as we used to say "Merry Christmas").  I'm back from Chicago, Lisa and I had a pretty active weekend.  I'll post as much as humanly possible this week to catch everybody up on what's been going on.

December 10, 2004 - Wow it's been a long time since a Lame Web Page update.  This last week got of to a great start as Lisa and I celebrated an amazing one year of marriage - can you believe it's been a year since the Lame Wedding?  As a special treat Lisa and I are in the process of editing and copying Official Lame Wedding DVDs, with outstanding footage and commen-"Tery" by Official Lame Wedding Videographer Tery Brownell.  Tery, we can't tell you how much we appreciate you taking video of our wedding, the memories are wonderful.  As for our celebration, of course we would have gone out to Ray's steakhouse had it not closed, so we made reservations at the new Official Lame Web Page Fancy Restaurant The Roaring Fork, located downtown in the Stephen F. Austin hotel.  Well, not too good unfortunately.  We've had to strip it of its title.  For starters the service was extremely poor.  The waiter didn't have a good grip on the specials, and just for good fun our menus were different from each other.  I ordered a White Russian, and for goodness sakes the bartender shook the thing in a martini shaker.  It had about a 2" head on it.  The waiter pointed this out and said the bartender was new (new to the restaurant or new to bartending?)  but I thought no, it should be fine as I stir my pretty well anyway.  The drink was really bad.  I told the waiter at the end of the meal and he seemed a little put off that I didn't ask for another one earlier, and frankly unless the bartender took a crash course in White-Russianology during our meal I had no reason to believe they could pull off another. For an appetizer we ordered "lobster and spinach rolls", which sounds great to both of us except they should have been called "mushrooms out the wazzo with a hint of lobster and spinach rolls", and of course Lisa hate mushrooms.  And I'm not too fond of surprise mushrooms.  The entree was just plain weird, I had cashew crusted snapper with shrimp and whipped potatoes, the fish was cold and not cooked well and the potatoes were mashed not whipped.  There were 4 or 5 strange sauces floating around the plate also.  I do have to qualify that by noting I was starting to feel pretty sick by then.  There is salvation in the Austin culinary landscape, keep reading.

I've been ill, something reminiscent of the Great Black Death of 1996 only not nearly as severe.  Seems to be passing now, literally.  Lisa and I say "Sideways" this evening at the Dobie, let's just say official Lame Web Page Author summed it up nicely- "It's a slice of life film".  It's a slice of something, that's for sure.  Look for a review Sunday.  Tomorrow I work (to catch up for missing 1 1/2 days last week), Tuesday I'm off to Chicago for the Midwest Band and Orchestra show with Charles.  Forcast calls for lows in the 20s, highs in the 30's to 40, and boo-hoo, no snow!  We're there four nights, about two less than when I did the show with Rankin.  Rankin and I share the same paranoia about getting to a show early and making sure everything's perfectly in place, whereas Charles can glide in the evening before and whatever might happen, he'll deal with.  It's a fun new perspective.

We're going to my company's Christmas party (oh wait, it can't be a "Christmas" party it has to be a "Holiday" party) at Dave & Busters, and it seems to involve a dinner theater of some sort.  They'd better not interact with me or the murder in the mystery will not be fiction.

Lisa and I were invited along with Arthur and Elsa to attend a dinner at the Driskill (official Lame Wedding Night Hotel) by Watkins motor lines, as a "thank you" for our business with them.  Let me tell you what.  The best meal I've ever had, even though I felt like I was going to explode from pain during the meal.  There were about 20 people, we were in a room off to the bar.  I think there were 8 waiters for each of us.  The menu was four courses with a couple of choices for each.  We started with a chop salad, seriously lettuce chopped up and mixed with blue cheese, bacon, and a dressing and molded in a terrine.  The mold was plated with a dollop of guacamole with two thin tortilla strips sticking up.  There was a line (a perfect line, I might add) of pepper in front of the two items.  We were all just about finished when the guy I was sitting next to commented "did anyone notice the theme of the salad"?  No, nobody did.  He says "it's the tortoise and the haire" and bingo, it was so obvious!  How clever.  The second course I had a crab cake over a great sauce (pureed red bell pepper I think) and although not as good as Ray's, it was the closest we've seen so far.  For the main course I had a beef tenderloin over black truffle whipped potatoes with braised leeks, and man it was perfect!  Lisa had fish, it looked good too.  Desert was a bit odd, imagine a rice crispy treat with some little baked thing that looked like a cornucopia with raisins spilling out, and a small scoop of ice cream - all soaked with rum.  A very outstanding meal indeed.

We did something really fun last Sunday - Charles was invited to play a set at Ruta Maya's (coffee house) Sunday morning children's show, and me, Lisa, Larry, Cecelia and Baby-O were along to assist.  We hope to do it again, Lisa and I need more rehearsal.  I dressed as Stanbo Miller, and Charles wrote stories for Lisa and I to read.  And of course Charles played many great songs from his growing repertoire of younger-audience directed compositions, a couple of which may be found in the Lame MP3 player, which I hope to update soon with all of the songs from his latest album, available for purchase or MP3 download for only $16.99.  BUT WAIT!  In this exclusive Lame Web Page offer you can receive Charles' latest CD for only - sit down for this - $5.00!  And he'll even sign it for free!  Order today!

It's almost 1am, I'm off to bed.

December 3, 2004 - This has been a particularly taxing week at work, I haven't been in a updating kind of mood.  Lisa promises she'll sit down with me this weekend and learn how to update this thing.  She also promised a review of "Bridget Jones' Diary Two - Beyond the Edge of Reason".  You might have noticed there aren't many new movie reviews lately (and when I say you I of course mean my Mom and Jef Ray) because we really haven't seen much.  We saw "Shall We Dance" with Official Lame Web Page Best Person Alex over the weekend, Lisa had already seen and reviewed it.  That's about it for now, more fun this weekend I promise.

November 28, 2004 - I'll write more about the Thanksgiving holiday tomorrow, it's bedtime now.  I've updated the chess game at Comrade Alex's Red Corner.  The "Seinfeld" cast is on Oprah tomorrow, don't forget to watch!

November 21, 2004 - I had quite a productive weekend.  Lisa flew to Dallas Friday evening for Elizabeth's baby shower.  After I dropped her at the airport I went for a walk, which was called after only 15 minutes due to rain.  Saturday morning I worked, Saturday afternoon I took a nap (great napping weather this weekend) and then cleaned.  Sunday morning, more cleaning.  I took advantage of Lisa's absence and finally cleaned and sealed the tile grout.  I also spot cleaned the carpet.  I did some work on the Lame Web Computer, nixing Internet Explorer and Outlook in favor of Mozilla Firefox and Netscape.  We'll see who comes out on top.  Netscape partners with AOL, which puts them at a disadvantage.  However, I don't like the way Firefox handles downloads and I like Netscape's email client.  I'm sure I'll have an official Lame Web Page recommendation soon.

Lisa and her mom got to enjoy torrential rain on the drive from Dallas, they made it to her hotel at about 5:00.  I met them for dinner at Serrano's, and then Lisa and I went to Krispy Creme because I just had to have a donut.  I had a blueberry cake.  They gave us each a free hot glazed, man it was good.  Oh yeah, I went to the grocery store today, that was an experience.  Lots of people buying supplies for Thanksgiving, as was I.  I'm making my Mom's famous broccoli casserole (they were OUT of cream of mushroom soup so I'm going to use cream of chicken) for our work pot luck and I'm making dressing (or "stuffing" except I don't stuff) for Thursday in Dallas.  I'm really looking forward to seeing my best person Alex in Dallas over the holiday.

I seriously doubt I'll make any progress on the Jef Ray project before Thanksgiving.  Heck, he's been along so long what's another couple of weeks?  Ladies, just be patient please.  The longer the wait, the more grand the experience.  I also have a project for my dad, I'll post it when I'm finished.

November 16, 2004 - Special weather edition.  Oh for gosh sakes.  It's raining like crazy, and the rain on our patio is flooding into the living room again.  The gutters above our section are broken or clogged, and tons of water pours off the roof.  I'm off to scoop.

November 16, 2004 - The chess match at Comrade Alex's Red Corner marches on, it's pretty obvious at this point I'm going to win.  Nothing exciting to report today, went to work, made dinner, relaxed on the couch, did not exercise.  Lisa's be exercising every night, which usually motivates me but not lately.  About the only thing I can stand to do regularly is walk, and the weather isn't cooperating.  Maybe later in the week.  Lisa says tonight's beef stew was the best ever, and if I can say without being to egotistical (back before the world went PC nuts I think they called it "proud") the stew was quite good.  We watched the World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions while we ate dinner, and boy was it exciting!  I love watching poker, by the way.  The prize to the winner was two million dollars, with the runner-up receiving absolutely nothing.  The winner was the darling of the poker world Annie Duke, Mother of four, professional poker player.

Check out Charles' Land of Blah, he's posted some cute pictures of baby "O".  Charles has a new children's CD packaged and waiting for your, for the amazingly low price of only $5 each plus postage.  I cringe at the thought, because it's worth more than any $15.00 Usher or Ashley Simpson CD.  I'll have samples in the Lame Web MP3 player this weekend.  Of course I always say "I'll work on it this weekend" and never do.  My day job really gets in the way of Lame Web production.  Speaking of artists who do not lip synch, Charles "M. C. of Blah" and friends will be performing for the kids (and adults young at heart) at the Ruta Maya coffee house off South Congress December 5th from 10:30 to 11:30 in the morning.  Details to follow.

I'm officially to the point where I feel the needs to start a campaign against the Federal Censorship Commission (FCC), for using their power as a Government agency to police based on their definition of decency, taking away that responsibility from the community where it belongs.  Telling private companies (in this case broadcasters) what they can and can not say.  Remember, there really aren't any public airwaves,  that's an idea hatched by the Government to justify censorship in the public interest.  Don't forget who the government exists to serve, and also don't forget the FCC chairman and four commissioners are appointed, so we can't vote them out, and they're not required to have any qualification other than someone in the current administration owes them a job for what ever reason.  Like maybe you're the son of the Secretary of State.  Or something like that.  Since we can't vote them out, we need to write.  A story broke today of a case in which the private Fox television network was fined a whopping $1.2 million dollars for an episode of "Married with Children" that suggested (not depicted, suggested) sex.  Well what do you know, a Freedom of Information act request by Jeff Jarvis, operator of a web blog site "www.buzzmachine.com", reveals a whopping three people wrote in to the FCC to complain about the episode.  That's three people out of the millions who watched the show sat down and wrote a letter.  Good gravy, if you ask a million people if the earth is flat you'll get at least three positives.  Don't forget, our freedoms are like hair that grows really slowly.  The Government has the scissors, and they've been sharpened by a very small but vocal group.  A snip here and a snip there - you might be hard pressed to notice the snips but the next thing you know you've got a really bad haircut.  I've never been one for analogies.  Voice your complaints to fccinfo@fcc.gov.  Also visit www.fcc.gov, they have a really nice website.

Ok, fine - now you've got me on a roll.  Check out today's news for this and other interesting stories.  I'm finished using the Lame Web Blog as a soapbox for a while, expect the humor to return in a big way soon with the debut of "Jef Ray".

November 14, 2004 - Special birthday wishes today to official Lame Web Page Mom Peggy Dunlap.  I won't give away her age because that's considered rude, but I will say we're now only one year away from her 60th birthday extravaganza.  This was a truly unproductive weekend.  I worked Saturday until about 1, then Lisa and I went to Zen for lunch and then to the store.  I made pizza last night, with a croissant crust (thanks Martha for that suggestion), Alfredo sauce, garlic, chicken, and fresh mozzarella.  Lisa didn't like it, but I did.  I did absolutely nothing today, I got up, watched TV, took a nap, watched more TV.  This evening we had dinner with Charles, Cecelia, and Olivia, it was good.  Then we played the new 90's edition Trivial Pursuit, that was nice because we all still remember the 90's.

Lisa quipped about the description of my dream (see below) being "weird", but really it wasn't.  I was on a dock, actually a series of docks, all about 5 feet wide, interconnecting endless over open water.  The weather was foggy and misty, and it was dusk.  Occasionally at an intersection of 2 or more docks there was a wide area about 20 feet square.  I was walking along the docks and I saw Alex in the distance.  She didn't see me.  She was sitting cross-legged on one of the open areas.  I sensed she wanted to be left alone, so I continued walking.  I decided to read the newspaper to give me something to do, but every one I found was wet from the mist.  Finally, Alex saw me and jumped up and motioned for me to come over.  I ran over, and we sat down on wet newspaper and talked.

November 11, 2004 - I had not intention of going to bed at 8:00, but that's what happened.  Lisa and I went to Freebirds for dinner and both felt really full when we got home.  We laid down and fell asleep.  I think she got up at some point, I didn't.  I'm up now (2:30 am) to brush my teeth and do a quick update.  I chatted with Alex before dinner, and had a dream about her during sleep part one.  It got off to a bad start, but had a somewhat happy ending.  All of the newspaper I could find was wet, however.

November 10, 2004 - The chess game continues, check out Comrade Alex's Red Corner.  This weekend is supposed to be cold and wet, perfect Lame Web Page weather.  We'll see if I can survive work for two more days.  "WAC" (with approved credit) is an acronym I do not like.

November 8, 2004 - I am so tired.  What a crazy day at work.  I like to keep the Lame Web Page as "day job free" as possible, but I must say days like today leave me exhausted and prevent me from pursuing my true calling, the LWP.  Speaking of LWP, I'm working on a list of my least favorite acronyms.  I'm off to bed.

November 4, 2004 - Happy birthday wishes go out to Official Lame Web Page Sister Erin, who is poised to enjoy the last year of being "in her twenties".  Please feel free to drop her an email with belated birthday wishes as the actual big day was yesterday.  I went to the dentist today, I feel squeaky clean.  Lisa and I fell asleep at about 8:00 tonight, it's the cool weather and early darkness.  I've come alive for a few minutes to post a quick update.  Check out the chess at the Red Corner, the game continues.  Lisa and I rented "Saved", and actually watched it.  A review might be forthcoming.  This weekend we'd like to see "The Incredibles".

November 2, 2004 - The big day is here, the MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION EVER, just like all of the others.  The official Lame Web Page endorsement went to Comrade Alex, sadly he has not received a single electoral vote so far.  Lisa and I ate really heavy (don't say "rich", ask Dad) Indian food at the Clay Pit, chicken stuffed with spinach in a cashew-cream sauce.  We're sitting up watching the returns, with 58% of Ohio reporting Bush is up 52% to 48%, so I'll make the call (you heard it here first) that Bush is the winner.  So where was I when the South went Republican?  Bush took every state.  Three Democrat reps went down here in Texas.

Oh and congratulations to the nine states that passed bans on gay marriage.  It's good to know you all have eliminated poverty, have zero unemployment, high performing public education, no crime, and balanced budgets.  Either that of your priorities are really warped.  At least your children will be safe!  Now you can get back to cheating on your wives.  I'll say it again, bear in mind this is only my Lame opinion - so many of the people who oppose gay marriage are hypocrites because they don't support a ban on divorce and capital punishment.  Divorce because I'm pretty sure a big part of the "traditional" ceremony is the line "until death do us part."  Therefore, if you use the argument that same sex unions degrade the sanctity of marriage then surely you must think divorce does also.  Capital punishment because it's right there in the Ten Commandments, "thou shall not kill", and it seems the same conservatives who are pro capital punishment are defending the display of the Ten Commandments in public buildings, doesn't that seem odd?

That's enough of the preaching, this is in general a non-partisan Lame Web Page.  Bush 210, Kerry 199.

October 31, 2004 - Happy Halloween!  Lisa and I just got back from seeing "Team America" at the Alamo, sitting a spell and enjoying Sonic drinks, and finally going down to Sixth street so we can say we did.  We started back to the car at precisely the right moment, arriving as the downpour began.  Of course, it's late (12:39 pm, 1:39 pm "body clock time") so I'm off to bed.  I did a lot of updating over the weekend, I'll leave it to you to find what's new.

October 27, 2004 - The great battle of Capitalism versus Communism continues as embodied by a game of chess between Comrade Alex and Uncle Sid.  Move #2 is posted, go to the Red Corner.

Quite a nice eclipse tonight.  Did you see it?

October 25, 2004 - Yawn.  It's 11:30 and I have to get up at 5am to be somewhere by 6am.  No good, I say!  I did a nice bit of work on www.jimdunlap.net, you have four new Backyard Zoo articles and two new Paka chapters.  I also updated Comrade Alex's Red Corner an event that history might some day reflect on as the greatest battle of minds since Kasparov battled "Deep Blue" to a draw - I present Comrade Alex and "Uncle" Sid chess showdown.  Check out the Red Corner for the historic first move.

October 24, 2004 - Once again, another weekend is over.  I had a productive weekend, I remodeled our bathroom.  The apartment style monster particle-board cabinet has been bothering me for a while, but no more!  I'll post pictures as soon as Lisa returns with the camera.  I also managed to stop a pesky leak in the bathroom faucet in spite of a really embarrassing incident with a nail (I'll explain later).  I turned down an offer from Comrade Alex to hang out at his and Comradette Stacey's place in order to work on the destruction I had created around here.  I did manage to get everything done and clean up the place, but now it's 11:30 and I'm too tired to work on any Lame Web.  I am 90% finished with the flash-based Comrade Alex vs. "Uncle" Sid chess match, that might be up soon.

I also have work to do on www.jimdunlap.net, and of course the plethora of pictures to post.  If I don't do descriptions, I can post them quickly but where's the fun in that?  I also installed the Lame Web Computer DVD burner (thanks again Margana!) and analog capture card and move the CPU back to the floor.  The Lame Web Page desk looks like a desk again, with the LCD monitor taking up so much less space.

I have after hours work duties tomorrow, hopefully I'll get back in time to work on this place.  Tuesday I have to be at a "symposium" at 5:45 am (or as Yogi Berra might say "5 am in the morning") and also pick Lisa up at the airport at 11:15 pm, so that will be a nice long day.  The Red Sox won, so I'm off to bed.

October 18, 2004 - Greetings Lame Web Page loyalists.  Don't forget to click the "deconstruct" button when view the "I Heart Huckabees" review.  Lisa says it's as good as the movie.  Also it features a clip from the soundtrack, which I thought was good, although a little forced.  It's almost midnight, so as you can imagine I'm too tired to do much else tonight.  I did work on the new chess pieces for the Comrade Alex vs. Capitalist Sid chess match.  I've gone to an easier to animate 2-D board, a la an old TI-99 computer.

October 17, 2004 - I certainly had grand plans for the webpage this weekend.  I'm finally sitting down to work on it, and low and behold it's 9:30 Sunday evening.  I'm tired, I have to get up extra early for work tomorrow, so I'm going to bed.

The good news is I have posted the much-anticipated Lame review for "I Heart Huckabees", which Lisa and I saw next week.  Comrade, you promised your own take on the film, I can't wait.  In case it's been a while you can check it out in the "movies" section of the Lame Web Page.  I think the movies section needs some sprucing up, the color looks like Baskin-Robbins ("31 flavors" to some) Daiquiri Ice.  I'll write more if I get a burst of energy.  Let's end with some random thoughts:

Roadrunner came out and replaced our cable modem, seems to be working fine.  I watched Texas A&M play yesterday and the beat Oklahoma State convincingly, on the road nonetheless.  They look good this year.  I have an orange shirt I really like, it's my first one, I like it because it reminds me of Alex.  I played tennis with Comrade Alex and Charles this weekend, my right arm feels like a noodle.  Comrade Alex recommended I listen to a CD by A. C. Newman, I really like it.  I cleaned this weekend, but did not make it to the store.  Lisa and I ran out of toilet paper about a week ago, so I really should go to the store.  Margana is WAY too nice to me.  Lisa did the Komen walk this weekend with her Mom in Dallas.  Lisa and her Mom saw "Shall We Dance", maybe we'll get a review!

October 13, 2004 - Stupid Roadrunner's acting up, no updates tonight.  A technician is coming tomorrow, nice of them to narrow the time down to a window between 8am and 5pm.

October 12, 2004 - I met Lisa after work and we saw I "Heart" Huckabee's - I'll leave you in suspense until I have a chance to do a review, but I will say it is deserving of a review, and soon.  Then we had dinner at Thai Kitchen.  Of course, it's late now (11:00) so I'm off to bed to re-charge for another long, strenuous day at the office.

October 11, 2004 - Here it is 11:00 and I'm just sitting down to work on the Lame Web Page.  Where does the time fly?  I've updated the "news" section with the much anticipated "Twenty Questions with Comrade Alex".  It's scary how fast he thinks of these things.  I took a picture of Bill today, so I'm one step closer to launching "Willy's Weekly Link", which I'm sure will push the Lame Web Page far past Google or Yahoo in popularity.  I'm too bummed about Christopher Reeves to do anything else tonight.

October 10, 2004 - Important announcement Lame Web Page readers - today is the official celebration of the day of birth of Official Lame Web Page Author Jim Dunlap.  Born on October 10, 1944 - that's 60 years, folks.  Pictures of our celebration in New York, today, and a kidney stone soon to follow.

This is the end of a truly Lame weekend.  I woke up Saturday morning with a splitting headache, and wasted the rest of the day in a Super Tylenol (Alex coined that term) stupor.  Today started off well, I felt good, went three sets and then some with Charles (tennis, in case you're wondering) with Cecelia and Baby "O" looking on.  Then the headache came again, and off to la la land I went.  It's 11:45, I'm just waking up and ready to go back to bed.  Not a lick of progress on the Lame Web Page, nor on anything else.  We should also extend special belated birthday wishes to Official Lame Web Page baby Olivia - who celebrated her first year of existence last October 3 (Charles, correct me if I'm wrong on the date.)

October 6, 2004 - I just had an idea.  I receive links from Bill almost daily, and he seems to be in the forefront of the worldwide internet link exchange, so I think it is only fair to you, Lame Web Page readers (Jef Ray and my Mother), that I post those links here.  So I'm working on "Willy's Daily Link" to put in the "Links" section of the Lame Web Page that I've never done anything with.

I really did work on the web tonight.  I'm scanning picture Alex sent of our trip to San Diego last July, and I worked on the Las Vegas pictures. Of course, I have a bunch from New York and I'll work on those soon.  I'm also working on my chess pieces for my challenge to a game of chess with Comrade Alex.  So much to do, too bad I have a day job.  More soon, I promise.

October 5, 2004 - Back from New York, part 2.  This has been a long day, I'm going to bed.
