Lisa’s Top Ten Events
of 2004
(at least the ones that come to mind right now) 10) The Lame Condo gets a little less lame (we install Pergo in the nook, Sid overhauls the bathroom and we get a giant TV, flat screen computer monitor and a new clothes washer).
9) We see some fabulous stuff in Austin- Weird Al at the Paramount with Charles, Cecelia and Parker, Ladee Leroy’s one woman show at Saint Ed’s and They Might be Giants at Stubbs - to name just a few.
8) We completely surprise my mom with a limo on her 55th birthday, and Kathy and the kids spend spring break with us in Austin.
7) Baby Quent is born happy and healthy, Suzanne is pregnant with Jonah (due in February 2005) and Baby Olivia is cuter than ever.
6) I finally visit Jim and JJ in Oregon, and I discover that Oregon is absolutely beautiful.
5) We celebrate Stephanie’s 60th Birthday in San Diego – complete with a limo, and we visit Terlingua for the first time with the Brownells.
4) The Dunlaps (that now includes me) take on New York City for Jimmy’s 60th birthday, and we see They Might Be Giants play in NYC and ride through NYC in a limo.
3) Sweet Miss Wiggins dies, and we adopt the very scary Audrey Poopsmith.
2) Sid and Lisa celebrate one year of wedded bliss which includes a terrible dinner at The Roaring Fork. We have the best dinner of our lives two nights later at the Driskill thanks to Watkins Freight.
1) Lisa legally leaves the name Griffith behind and joins the infamous Dunlap clan.
